Review on 🍳 Mepra Silver Cookware Set - 20 CM: Enhance Your Culinary Experience by Trisha Griffin

High quality frying pan. Heats up evenly. There is no lid. Thin walls

The Mepra 1950 saucepan is a great pan if you're looking for that style. This works especially well in situations where you want to switch from stovetop to oven and then serve to the dining table using the same pan. I've only eaten three dishes with it so far, but there have been no surprises. It takes the heat really well and I haven't seen any rust or discoloration. As others have noted, this pan does not have a lid, which makes me a little sad given the price and intended use (serving from it). If, like me, you like using the lid when serving, you should know that the inside diameter that the lid sits on is just under 7 inches. The outside flange of the pot that the lid actually sits on is about 7.5 inches long. Holds just over 2 liters (8 or 9 cups) of liquid, so you don't have to cook large meals in it. Although the floor is quite thick and strong, the walls are very thin. In addition, the handles are welded, not riveted. While I don't think this affects durability too much, you should be aware. Handles will of course get very hot even if you put it on the stove. Overall a good pot/pan. If you already have a collection of good sized dinnerware this would be a great addition. If you're just starting out or planning to buy one for someone just starting out, I'd settle for the more common long-stemmed pot.
