The Mepra 1950 saucepan is a great pan if you're looking for that style. This works especially well in situations where you want to switch from stovetop to oven and then serve to the dining table using the same pan. This is a great cookware. I've cooked in stainless steel but nothing of this quality. It's thick, heavy, and heats evenly. Using the pot to caramelize the onions tonight, I realized that I don't have to move the onions from cooler to warmer places, which I usually do without thinking about it.
