Gorgeous Saucepan - Kitchen & Dining

This is a heavy, beautifully designed and incredibly well-made saucepan. It says it can be used on a variety of cooking surfaces. Below are four different ones. Lately I've been reading more about stainless steel than I ever needed to know to understand the makeup of this pot, and what I've basically learned is only 18/10. I admit I never thought of stainless steel before and that was my mistake. Mepra has already taught me a lot about high-quality cookware. Now I didn't want to cook anything…

Unique skillet Soup or casserole for two

So far I like this skillet. The style is unique and has an elegant look. It's small and appears to be deeper than the pan should be. 18 cm is about 7 inches wide. And 4 inches tall. There is a mark in the cabin indicating that the total power is 2 liters. I have a lot of pans but none this size, so I'm happy to add one to my arsenal. I contacted the company to find out where to buy lids because pots need lids and most pans need lids. The appearance of this pan, and it is quite heavy, is similar

This is a cool piece of cookware. It's very, very well done. I tested it in different ways - on the stove and in the oven, with different products - preparing the sauce, heating the soup, cooking the casserole. It all handled well - heated evenly, felt nice in the oven (which always makes me nervous, so I'm so glad it works that way!). . Although I knew before I bought it that it didn't come with a case, I wish I had it with me often when I used it. I tried other cases I had but none fit. I…

This is an incredibly well made real steel pot. Marking 1 liter and 2 liters inside and perfectly engraved. This is a heavy pot. it should be so. The base is extremely durable and the pot is certified for electric, gas, induction and oven use. You can do almost anything with this beautiful Italian frying pan. The handles are very well attached with only slight bulges on the inside of the pot to show the connection points where they have been excellently welded. We tried both gas and induction…

High quality frying pan. Heats up evenly. There is no lid. Thin walls

The Mepra 1950 saucepan is a great pan if you're looking for that style. This works especially well in situations where you want to switch from stovetop to oven and then serve to the dining table using the same pan. I've only eaten three dishes with it so far, but there have been no surprises. It takes the heat really well and I haven't seen any rust or discoloration. As others have noted, this pan does not have a lid, which makes me a little sad given the price and intended use (serving from…

Beautiful cookware and cooks evenly

This is a great cookware. I've cooked in stainless steel but nothing of this quality. It's thick, heavy, and heats evenly. Using the pot to caramelize the onions tonight, I realized that I don't have to move the onions from cooler to warmer places, which I usually do without thinking about it. Everything is evenly baked from the edges to the middle. And the weight of the pot keeps it from moving while stirring and working with even light ingredients. There is no lid that would have made an…

Beautiful, elegant, stylish, classic

I would never have heard of Mepra without the vine range. If you visit their website you will be duly impressed by their ethics, their designers and the fact that ALL of their products are made in Italy. It's made with care and style, you can be assured of that. I have a 1950 18cm saucepan with handles and it is beautiful, elegant and most importantly a superb kitchen saucepan. There's a two-liter measuring ruler, although it looks small by American standards (there are so many giant pots in…
