Filleting knife in excellent quality!

This is a great filleting knife! First, every sheathed knife in my book gets an extra star. Leather is good, but for knives that stay wet most of the time, Kydex/plastic is better. The knife is held securely in the plastic sheath and can - at least for me - be easily taken out with one hand (with thumb pressure) and put back into the sheath. The handle has a very secure grip (thanks to the rubberized material - the blue part) and the guard that protects the hand from slipping forward works well. The blade is flexible but not intrusive, which I prefer - gives more control when making precise cuts. It came out pretty sharp, I could cut paper easily so I check all my knives when I get them. Haven't used it enough times to judge the non-stick coating. All in all a very high quality knife!

Pros
  • USER-FRIENDLY CUTTER for best curve. The reversible safety sharpener uses angled ceramic blades to ensure you keep the blade sharp every time you use your fish fillet knife.
