Honestly, for the price this is a great knife. A fillet of about a hundred fish since I got it and it's still as sharp as the day it came out of the box. You just have to secure it with a sharpener every time you use it, of course, but that's standard.

I've only had this knife for about two months. I hand wash and dry every time I use it. The problem isn't the rust, it's the fact that the blade is already cracked and chipped in many places. I didn't use it against the bone or anything, just to cut my smoked chest. Buyer Warning. If I had to do it again I would 100% choose a different knife.

I had never owned a filleting knife and was dying to get one. I liked that this comes with a sheath and sharpener that is easy to carry. I've used it for butchering trout and it worked like a charm. It was a lot easier than I expected and the knife was nice and sharp. So excited to use it again! Delivery was lightning fast and I am very happy with my purchase.

This is the second fillet knife I have bought from Rhinoreto and I am very happy with it for the second time. The first one I bought was 8 inches but I need a shorter one. Since the 8" served me well for over a year, I bought another one in the 6.5". The handle is comfortable to hold, the blade is sharp, but there is a sharpener in the kit and the blade keeps sharpening. I highly recommend this fillet knife.

Love this knife! This knife is excellent for cutting fish. I used it for a salmon I cooked for my family this weekend. It cuts very well and has a comfortable grip. The knife also comes with a ventilated plastic cover that stays in place well if you need to use it outdoors. It also comes with a sharpener. Most knives don't have these extra features. I personally also like the color of this knife. The curved shape makes it easier to cut up the fish. I am very happy with my purchase.

I cut/grind fish for my job every day. Although the black finish has fallen off, the knife itself just left me impressed. It holds its edge very well and if there are any problems just run it through the hone side or then sharpen, sharpen and it reverts to razor blade. This is a great filleting knife! First, every sheathed knife in my book gets an extra star. Leather is good, but for knives that stay wet most of the time, Kydex/plastic is better. The knife is held securely in the plastic sheath and can - at least for me - be easily taken out with one hand (with thumb pressure) and put back into the sheath. The handle has a very secure grip (thanks to the rubberized material - the blue part) and the guard that protects the hand from slipping forward works…

I bought this extra fillet knife to keep in the camper. I knew it wouldn't be what I was used to and I tried. I'm used to the Moroknov fillet and I won't lie, I don't like this fillet knife at all. If I needed 10 som fillets it wouldn't work. It has an odd non-stick blade and is definitely not as sharp as I was hoping.
