This trunk opener works exactly as it's designed. I installed it on my 2015 Ford F150. I don't use it every day so I haven't tested its durability yet, but for the price I think it's a great mod that can help others who can't lift or don't have hands to slow down the tailgate. Installation was easy, there are pictures in the instructions and it's already very clear what works and how, I don't think there's anything to confuse. It must have taken 8-10 minutes. The quality of the parts feels solid and does not wear out quickly.
