My wife's 2012 Malibu burned for over a year and performed poorly (shame on me). Just in case, I went with GM solenoids. After replacing everything the lights went out and I could feel the difference. The hardest part was finding the side cover screw, but other than that it's a VERY easy task. It's been two months so far so good. By the way, I changed both the exhaust and the intake. Now to wheel bearings and hubs π
