I have had many Britas but this one is terrible. It was cheaper than the other Brita and as long as it just stayed in the fridge it was fine and I love the color red. The little lid that opens to fill keeps falling off - there's a little tab missing that you gently squeeze can snap into place. Also, I always fill it all the way to the top. This one starts licking before you reach the top. I have to put it in the sink to fill it up or the counter will get wet. And when you pour, the water just fizzes. you have to be really careful when watering. There's also a material-like sticky adhesive from the top of the patch to the bottom of the canister - as if it was attached post-production. I would have sent it back immediately if I had known all this in time --- but when it arrived I didn't need it right away so it sat in the box for quite a while. This is a blow to the whole Brita company, please don't think like that - I love their products. just not this particular one.
