It used to be always perfect, but now there are two flaws.

This is my third BRITA jug. I LOVE HER! But I am very disappointed with this new one I just bought. Two questions! Very disappointing. The filter change indicator, which rises to add water to start the filter process, does not get stuck. Grrrrr. The second problem is a spout for pouring filtered water into a container. It's not a stream, it's a flood. I have to fill my bottles with water at the sink AND lose at least one whole bottle of filtered water as a result. When I fill the coffee pot…

It runs out, the lid doesn't hold, if possible without stars!

I have had many Britas but this one is terrible. It was cheaper than the other Brita and as long as it just stayed in the fridge it was fine and I love the color red. The little lid that opens to fill keeps falling off - there's a little tab missing that you gently squeeze can snap into place. Also, I always fill it all the way to the top. This one starts licking before you reach the top. I have to put it in the sink to fill it up or the counter will get wet. And when you pour, the water just…

Junk filter holder best in kitchen and dining room

I bought this to replace another Brita jug that lasted 6 years. I started using it about a month after purchasing it. It flows around the filter in less than 5 months. We have chlorinated water that we use to get rid of the taste, but you can still try "filtered" water. We've changed cartridges a couple of times thinking we might have a bad pack, but we've found that on the last two filters, water runs down the side of the filter instead of dripping through it. new) Filter because of that…

worth your money.

This is my second Brita stein, it had an old 5 cup mug which I loved and used for years until a thirsty cat knocked it off the edge of the counter. Received this today and was happy to see the filter design stayed the same as I had several filters for my old Brita that matched the new one perfectly. I saw many complaints about the lid, poured my first glass and expected the worst, nothing. No problem. Maybe they corrected the design or people didn't click them properly, but mine stayed fine…

Psst! Say, do you want to buy something super shitty?

Want to send more plastic down the waste stream, fast? Buy this cheap piece of ultra-thin, easy-to-break junk! If you have no kids, no husbands, no fights, this mug is not for you. I had one of these a few years ago and the plastic was thicker and withstood a few drops from a rack over the course of a few years. I don't know if the company decided to cheapen the plastic and make it thinner and/or more brittle and more prone to breakage/cracking, but I had this jar less than a month before the…
