I use a hydraulic jack in my home shop for a variety of jobs from lifting motorcycles to positioning some of the heavy projects I work on; and of course for spinning tires. The problem is that I usually work alone, so it can be inconvenient to swing the jack handle while I'm doing other tasks, so I've been looking for a better solution. and includes a remote control so there is no need to manually inflate the hydraulic jack or turn the crank on the scissor jack. The Reliancer Electric Scissor Jack Kit comes in a heavy duty blow molded case. Usually the cases seem secondary, but the jack and accessories fit nicely in the case and I love that the case lid has real hinges and the latches are metal. The accessory socket adapter also looks high quality. However, the emergency handle is made of plastic; I would prefer a metal construction. The jack is easy to use; Install either a shorter rotating lift head or a taller fixed lift head first. Then connect the power cable to the remote control cable, which is permanently attached to the connector. After that, choose whether to power the plug from a 12V accessory socket, or use the included battery clips and connect the power cables directly to the battery. On various vehicles, whenever possible I will always connect the jack directly to the battery to prevent blowing the car's 12 volt fuse. I've just started testing the electric jack and found the lifting motion to be smooth and quiet with no issues. I really like this electric scissor jack; Once I use this electrical jack a bit I will update this review.
