Review on 🧵 Janlynn Joy in The Journey Counted Cross Stitch Kit - 14 Count, 7-3/4 by 11-1/4-Inch: A Complete Embroidery Set by Amber Perez

This is a really simple but beautiful set that fits into any rustic interior. That's a lot more than I expected. While the design is simple (all cross-stitching with minimal backstitching), it still allows for plenty of texture and interest (see how the word "blessed" is wavy). The colors in the picture are quite real except that the dark reddish color (hearts etc.) looks more like a very dark burnt orange (which I like better). The kit did not include a strand of floss so I contacted Janlynn directly very late on Wednesday evening. They replied first thing Thursday morning asking for the kit number (I just called). Less than five minutes later I received confirmation that they would forward the missing thread.
