Review on πŸ’¨ Optimized Air Bleeder Valve by Plews & Edelmann - Model 05-039 by Matt Bokil

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is what my gun should've had

I bought a Lincoln pistol grip grease gun (1134 I think) and it's a pretty good gun. All I had before were disposable car parts that drive me crazy and break when you need them. So the Lincoln was a big upgrade. The only problem was that the bleed mechanism is a dumb 5mm hex screw that you have to back off to somehow stop the grease from leaking or shooting out the hole and then screw it back in. It's a bit messy with regular lube, but with corn head/liquid lube it's a disaster. This little guy solved my problem. The thread on it is 1/8"NPT which is 1/8-27. It fits perfectly on a Lincoln 1134 and appears to be the standard thread size for grease plugs/valves. Very simple design with the valve being held closed from the outside spring is sealed top and bottom with an o-ring. For $5 it's a no-brainer if you struggle with a bolt like I am. I just wish Lincoln had something like this fitted from the factory. Don't forget the grease to depressurize the pipe when you change it by pulling the piston or whatever you need to do on your particular gun.
