Call me old-fashioned, but I like to make my mashed potatoes out of potatoes, not boxes. Before I got married I had an old school masher that I finally broke. Since I needed a new one, I decided to try one of the plastic bottles from my local Big Blue store. I thought it was terrible! The thing was bent before even a single potato was crushed. Enter this! The reviews are pretty categorical and this is a quality slider for the price. The metal pin won't dissolve or loosen in food, and it always gets the job done right. It's easy to clean and food won't stick to the pusher. I would buy again if needed.
