A good appliance if you cook a lot. This particular food processor replaced a smaller one that was killing me when I was crushing ice. I was impressed by the power of the motor, which easily crushes ice and fruit for a delicious smoothie. However, when I first used it, I made a huge mess. I think I may have overfilled it because when it worked liquids from crushed fruit and ice leaked everywhere. Apart from that one time, however, I didn't have any significant problems. I'm just a little more careful about how deep I fill it. I like the lever on the lid that allows you to remove food stuck in the blades. Haven't had to use it yet, but it's a nice touch.
