Review on Gates K060882 Micro-V Serpentine Drive Belt: Superior Performance and Durability for Your Vehicle by Shawn Hill

This belt will not fit 2001 Tundra 4.7L engine. I used to change serpentine belts on my truck so I have some experience installing them. After playing around with it for about 15 minutes, I finally came to the conclusion that this belt is too short. According to Revane, the belt should fit my truck, but it really didn't. The part number sold to me is 6PK2243. The correct part number is 6PK2300, which is approximately 2.24 inches longer. Luckily I was able to run to PEP Boys, choose the right one and install it in less than 5 minutes. I don't like leaving bad reviews for what is likely to be a quality Gates product, but it needs to be considered so the consumer knows and can make the right decision.
