Review on πŸ”΄ MZS Bar End Mirrors - Universal Motorcycle Rear View Mirror for Street Bikes - Red Finish by Robert Weeks

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The threads snapped nowhere near tight enough for street use

On receipt like many others, I saw hand and finger prints on the mirrors. This concerned me immediately, but they were very easy to clean with the help of Vindex, so I didn't think of anything else. I used the hardware that came with the installation. The rod ends attached just as easily as any other hollow rod end - there were no problems attaching. It seems quite heavy for its size, which was nice. The mirror looked great with good visibility when you were on the bike. The swivel was easy to install and tighten. However, when tightening the clamp to attach to the end of the rod, the threads for the screw broke. Due to the loose clamping during the thread crack, the mirror could not handle the high speeds on the bike. I'm a little disappointed, but part of me wonders what I expected from such cheap mirrors. . I will try to return another pair and hope this pair was just defective. I don't have high hopes but will definitely update this review when a replacement arrives.
