You don't have to assemble them exactly as they say.

My Benelli TnT135 has "handlebar weights" which the instructions say need to be removed to fit the mirrors. However, I wanted to mount mine like my friend Chris did, so I just unscrewed the screw on the end of the "sliders", put a mirror in, and then used the longer screw that came with the mirrors. Voila! Now I can really see what's behind me. The only bad thing about these mirrors is that someone at the factory seemed to hold them with their bare hands before applying the protective coating…

It's not scary.: Parts

So here we go. I have a sport bike where you can't look in the mirror unless you want to look at your elbow. I made them road legal. I installed one in my already installed threaded end on my bike. The first thing I had to do was use a different screw than the one that came with the mirrors. The threaded portion in my bars was the next size up. Yes I could remove the original insert and use the insert that came with the mirrors but I decided to just get a new screw. I then had to make the head…

Finally. good product amazon

Got them for my 07 sv650. You are perfect. Installation was pretty easy and they have great customizations. Also, they look good, but not like what I paid for. If it makes sense? Mirror clarity is excellent and depth perception is adequate. They are easy to clean. Also, during installation I dropped the left mirror from above at bike height and it landed face down on the pavement and didn't even have a scratch. After that I was sold because I was sure what it was made for. impresses me with the

The threads snapped nowhere near tight enough for street use

On receipt like many others, I saw hand and finger prints on the mirrors. This concerned me immediately, but they were very easy to clean with the help of Vindex, so I didn't think of anything else. I used the hardware that came with the installation. The rod ends attached just as easily as any other hollow rod end - there were no problems attaching. It seems quite heavy for its size, which was nice. The mirror looked great with good visibility when you were on the bike. The swivel was easy to…

Good Price Side Mirror

Installed on Ducati Streetfighter and 1098. Took about 10 minutes to install. Just unscrew and install. Pros: Lots of mirror position adjustments Stables don't even move at highway speeds. After tightening the mirror assembly. There are two Phillips head screws on the back of the mirror that may need to be tightened. On my pair, one mirror was jammed and the other was loose. At highway speeds one of them moves and I have to adjust it while driving until I tighten the screws on it. No vibration…
