Was hoping they would work better but after two rides I had to take them off. The problem was that my foot kept slipping off the pedals, they were too small for my size 11 MTB shoes. On the first ride my foot slipped about 5 times so on my return I replaced the spikes with something longer to see if that would help, which did. not much, because the next time my foot only slipped twice, and both times I just rode on a flat road without trying too hard. I think if they were around an inch more they might work better. a pedal they only allowed on one side so you have to get used to tipping them with your foot and then get used to positioning your foot so they don't kick back. Good idea, but didn't work for me.
