Great concept but not so with Egg Beaters

I really wanted them to work with my Egg Beaters (EB) Crank Bro but it only took a few turns to understand that I hated her. First, I didn't want to change the load on my EBs to get these platforms working, and when I didn't I felt like I was walking on marble. Second, I felt like I was going to lose the platform on the trail and that they needed some sort of leash. Was not satisfied and therefore returned it. At least there were no problems with the return. All I can say is that theseโ€ฆ

Great concept but very difficult to take off the pedals

I bought these to convert my spin bike pedals (SPD-SL) to platform pedals when my husband wants to use my spin Bicycle. This is a great and inexpensive way to do it. They go in easily, but removal requires a screwdriver to open the spring on the pedals and unscrew the platforms. You don't have the leverage of your entire leg to pull them off, all you have are your arms and platforms. If you take them off the pedals regularly, you can think of another way to get more leverage on the platforms to

Good idea but didn't work for me

Was hoping they would work better but after two rides I had to take them off. The problem was that my foot kept slipping off the pedals, they were too small for my size 11 MTB shoes. On the first ride my foot slipped about 5 times so on my return I replaced the spikes with something longer to see if that would help, which did. not much, because the next time my foot only slipped twice, and both times I just rode on a flat road without trying too hard. I think if they were around an inch moreโ€ฆ
