Review on 💡 Globe Electric Swing-Arm Desk Lamp - Black, Base Included by Darryel Tokarczyk

I bought this lamp NOT to use the clip. I found it to be a typical extension lamp with two screws added to limit its movement as the base was not massive enough to support the lamp on the extension. I removed the screws and found that the lamp tips were being pushed out at all. I have to put a 5lb weight on the base to keep it from falling AND the rod that goes into the base does NOT even fit the clips on my other globes. This lamp is NOT manufactured for use and is NOT manufactured to the same physical specifications as other lamps. There's no reason not to add weight to the base (+5 lbs) to support the lamp when fully extended, just as there's no reason not to put "teeth" in the ground. the jaws of their clips to hold them in place so the lamp doesn't fall off again. I would have returned it, but the first time he fell, he dented the bell. Still works perfectly, but not for resale. If I had a choice, I would buy a different lamp - NOT a globe.
