Once you've used this, you won't have to be without it!

This is a superior quality confectionery sheet compared to any other on the market today. (I add "today" because there was a time when these garments were made using the same technique as hemming jeans! True hemming is no longer the case. Only overlock is used.) It's a thick and heavy one Material. just enough to keep enough flour in the fibers to easily roll out even the softest, stickiest dough without adding extra flour to the dough so you get a tender crust every time. I also like that there are measurement markings on the fabric so not only can you easily determine the correct size, but it also helps you roll out a nice round crust every time. The rolling pin lid fits my large French rolling pin snugly and even leaves a little on each end. Cleaning is extremely easy; Shake out as much flour as possible, then hand wash in warm/hot water with dish soap (this can remove oil/grease better than detergent) and rinse until the running water runs clear and clear. I let mine dry on an absorbent towel and then store them rolled around a rolling pin. If you use it frequently, you can simply roll or fold the fabric without washing, put it in a zippered bag and store it in the freezer. It also helps keep the dough nice and cold when rolling out in the summer or in a hot kitchen. Or, if you have a freezer, wrap it around a rolling pin and then wrap the entire "wrap" in plastic wrap and freeze until ready to use. This would be ideal as you would not have to re-flour every time, all utensils/tools will be cold when you use them and you will not have creases due to creases in your fabric and your fabric and coating will last longer. because of fewer washes. As long as you freeze it immediately after use and only remove it when you're ready to use it, you don't have to worry about germ growth due to time and temperature constraints. Ateco is a quality brand that I have been using for many years and in fact I have piping bags from this company that I have been using and washing in a professional setting for over 20 years. I expect the same performance from this confectionery fabric and coating.
