These are very well built vents, solidly made of durable materials and adjustable which helps a lot with balancing heaters in a steam system. Not only are these vents adjustable, but the range of adjustment is incredible. When these adjustable vents are set to maximum ventilation, you can vent your radiators very quickly, or when these vents are set to the lowest ventilation position, very slowly. When these adjustable vents are set to the maximum ventilation rate, I think the ventilation rate is much higher. than the much larger steam jet orifices available. This is a quality product. Highly recommended.
