Review on 🍀 Clover Amour Crochet Hook in Size K/6.5mm - Ergonomic Design for Comfortable Crocheting by Doris Tran

I have a whole set of Amour in smaller sizes from 6.0mm to 2.25mm and since then my knitting life has improved immeasurably. I work with both acrylic and natural fibers, although I haven't crocheted in a long time. I also have a growing collection of soft touch hooks that I use for small projects and lace projects. I like these smaller hooks in general because the aluminum finish is fantastic for my taste and style. They cut through the seams like butter without snapping threads or anything like that. I don't like these hooks. I've found that the sweat from my hands (I know) makes my yarn sticky on plastic and cheaper aluminum hooks. I know what you're thinking and yes, I wash my hands regularly and thoroughly. If I've washed my hands enough times that this hasn't happened, I've only been able to crochet in 15 minute sessions, which of course takes longer for longer projects. These oversized amour hooks just don't work for me as the yarn ends up sticking to my hook making it difficult to sew with even the lightest tension I can apply. I relied on the reviews knowing it was plastic but hoping the hooks would somehow magically slide down the yarn like aluminum. Well, those clues are definitely not from Hogwarts for me. I will copy and paste the review for the other sizes I have purchased. They're not bad hooks per se, they just don't work for me. YMMV.
