My son and I have loved paddleboarding since the pandemic began. I bought him a pair of water boots but he always ends up with rocks in them or in one case lost a pair when he got stuck in the mud. The relatives are wonderful. They are made by a company known for their water shoes and comfortable ground boots. This couple is no exception. It is consistent with the company's reputation and design solutions. Closed toe is good - now I have one less problem because my kid can hurt his toes. The hard material also helps him stand on his feet better and feel less constrained by the rocks he walks on the ground. He can also go for a short walk with them. All in all a good pair of water shoes for land and water with good grip and protection.
