Not sure who can use this stand effectively, it's been an epic failure and scary! This seemed like a great idea for my son who will be "homeschooled" this year. If you place the controls at the desired level, they won't hold the level when you then place the laptop on the stand. CRASH. MY GOD! Nothing is worth smashing up an expensive laptop. I'm surprised there weren't any locks to keep the controls in place, and I thought the weight of the laptop would hold everything in place - not the case. He's back, quick!
