Reviewing the 2X-large 20-30 mmHg, open toe, beige pairAfter being diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency 4 years ago, I've developed a close personal relationship with compression socks, wearing them daily. They work well to keep the more unpleasant side effects of this condition at bay. My doctor prescribed 18-22 mmHg strength, so I usually have a both 15-20 and 20-30 mmHg pairs on hand. I've tried most of the major brands on the market, so I was interested to try these.Fit wise, I'm right on the "border" between X-large and 2X-large. The 2XL version seems to be working well -- comparable to the fit and compression of my "usual" brand.I've been using these for two weeks, and they're holding up well. Sometimes the less expensive brands/models stretch out of shape after a few uses/washing -- not these. Once you get the hang of it, they're not difficult to put on.Bottom line: these are good -- as good as some of the pricier "name brands" but at a much more economical cost.
