Obviously not made for my 105 lb German Shepherd Dingo mix. But it stabilizes it perfectly in corners and when I hit the brakes. I'm sure it's great for small dogs. However, a conventional dog harness does not protect a dog in a car accident with plastic buckles. I know Petsmart sells car seat belts with steel buckles if that helps anyone.
