Review on 🔧 Dorman 674-159: High-quality Driver Side Exhaust Manifold Kit for Chevrolet/GMC Models, in Sleek Black by Tim Evans

Good quality. *** Updated January 31, 2020 *** Sorry; Like others, I had problems with a Dorman 674-159 "driver's side" exhaust manifold that fitted my 454 BB. The manifold is not directly above the head connections. There was a slight wobble when mounting on a head without a gasket. The OEM GM distributor had the part number and other information in raised letters/numbers on the outside of the distributor. Dorman (made in China) had all this data on the inside of the distributor housing. The raised figures touched the edge of the cylinder head, causing the manifold to deviate from the bottom by approximately 0.001 inch. The diameter of the Chinese header body was significantly larger than the OEM GM casting. As a result, I had to grind the length of the case by several thousandths so that the collector coincided with the square. I used a .063 copper washer, which also held the distributor off the head somewhat. Dorman has a lot of "meat" on it, so feel free to use it. I haven't had this problem on the passenger side with the Dorman 674-161, it was a perfect fit.
