I use this device to track my dog's daily walks, but I bought it mainly to protect him from big paws that might steal him in the woods. I often get lost and tie the tracker to his harness. It appears to be very durable and still performs well after hiking off-road and through flat-water traverses. I love the heatspot feature that tracks his favorite spots, it's very accurate! I bought another brand first and immediately went back due to poor tracking and not always working with the app. This device solved all the problems I had with the previous brand and did so much more. Customer support is great. So worth it for your peace of mind! I also don't know if this is a problem or a feature, but my device doesn't turn red immediately after connecting to charge, but the red charging indicator lights up after being connected to the network for several minutes (not working) . . It doesn't seem to affect usage or battery life as I charge it every 5-7 days depending on usage.) Thanks Traactive! <3
