2 year old daughter stopped playing on the baby inflatable raft as she became unconscious/afraid of just swimming alone. For the next few trips to the pool we just kept it - it's fun but has its pros and cons. Enter the game Puddle Jumper. This is good because dad doesn't have to blow her up every time she wants to go swimming and since she can't defecate it makes her a bit safer. She can still hold on to mom or dad (more often dad), but we can challenge her and let her rise at arm's length from us. She seems to enjoy wearing it and it doesn't stop her from climbing stairs to get into the pool. I'm taking off a star because she can swallow water if she leans forward a little. Of course we are always here for them, but drinking pool water never seems like a good idea. I don't think any pool toy will ever be 100% safe but this is a great product as it gives little ones some freedom.
