Took a while to get it going, but it's working now

I'm new to all the smart stuff for the home. I thought it'll be as easy as easy to connect to Google Home as the smart light bulbs, but it was WAY more difficult than that. I had read one of reviews where they mentioned using the Tuya app (newer version of Smartlife) to install. I tried Smartlife at first and when I couldn't get it to work, I tried Tuya, which seemed easier, but still difficult enough to get me. Part of it was that there was this one part that told me to set up my personal hotspot on my phone, but I totally missed where it said to connect to the Smartlife network, which I finally figured out.but during this time, I also asked ATT to turn off the 5 GHz channel on my local wifi network to force everything to go to 2.4 GHz.a bit of networking knowledge can be a dangerous and confusing thing in this case. LOL! Anyway, I got it going and it's working great. A friend said to use the IFTTT app to set up so it'll turn on/of at sunset/sunrise, which I then installed IFTTT app, but could not figure that out. I just stuck with using Tuya to turn it on/off at the certain time and it works.
