Some of them are almost dry - not water based but great colors

I love metal pens, paints and other materials that help add texture to my work when doing different things with art. Let's take a look at them. HOW THEY ARE PACKAGED They are supplied in a plastic tray with separate locations for each marker. This is important as you need to store them FLAT. If you want to choose what to work with, it's easier. If you put them in a mug or other holder, you can forget to keep them FLAT. They come in an outer plastic box which is quite sturdy, making them easy to store. SHAPE OF MARKERS Markers are the size of a wooden pencil. They are long and narrow and they are thin. The colors are reflected on the top of the marker. There is a tight-fitting lid that you need to put on well or it will dry out. CAP AND TIP - CAN YOU PUT THE CAP ON THE END WHEN IN USE? Caps and ends are printed in the color of the marker. In other words, they are THIS color. AND YES, THE CAPS ARE INSTALLED ON THE BACK OF THE MARKER WHILE YOU ARE USING IT. I think this is VERY important to know, so I wanted to point that out. MARKER FEATURES These markers are really good. They have a good brush tip that gives a broad or very fine line when you press it in different ways. The markers themselves are fine, but they don't have a lot of ink, so be careful how you use them. They behave like ALCOHOL MARKER - more on that in a moment. DRY I only had an almost dry marker - white. ARE THESE MATERIALS WATER BASED? Skin from prolonged soaking with soap. However, alcohol will remove them FAST. You can also use alcohol to remove or smear them on paper or other media. This is GOOD news for me as it means I can use them in resin appliques for jewelry or any other work I have in mind. SHOW These marks show up well on dark colors - I've posted swatches for you to see. I also like to use them for quick highlights on darker markers. Being alcohol based they hold up better and I'm VERY happy about that. BOTTOM LINE These markings are even better than I expected. They are alcohol based which means they stick better making them ideal for resin or alcohol ink drawings when I want to add embellishments. They say to lay them flat, although many alcohol markers say to face them down. MY RATING IS FIVE STARS. I like them, although I wish they had a little more ink. Great color choices and I LOVE the brush tip. Very diverse.
