This thing works exactly as I needed it to. The small size is great, considering my desk is already extremely cluttered with other stuff. I only have a single set of speakers, but have a laptop, a stand alone monitor with a switch and a Raspberry Pi connected, and an all in one stereo unit that all need to run through the same speakers. Constantly having to swap the speaker cable over was really annoying, especially considering some of the headphone outputs are in rather inconvenient places. Now I wave access to everything at the turn of a dial. I'm also a fan of the volume control, because now I can set the individual device volumes and just have a single universal control. The mute button is also a nice feature.The only negative I have is that the input jack is very touchy. I'm not sure if this is a common problem, or if this is just my unit but it seems like the slightest touch will cause the volume output to drop or for one side of the speakers to stop working. I might try to reach in with a paper clip or something and see if I can adjust the contacts inside the jack to align with the plug better. Overall, though, I am satisfied with this audio switcher for what I paid for it.
