this is the best everyday prime lens for m43 in 2016. If you can afford this lens, buy it. I think this will be my new everyday lens. Before the Olympus 25mm f1.2, my everyday lens was the Panasonic 25mm f1.4. The Panasonic 25mm f1.4 is a great lens. Although in my opinion the Olympus 25mm f1.2 lens wide open gives sharper images and is weatherproof. The cool thing is that this lens is pretty sharp at f1.2, 3D effects appear in the images and the bokeh is very soft. The lens also focuses quickly. I can only think of 2 problems: 1) It's an expensive lens. The thing is, this is a quality all-weather lens (not afraid of rain, snow), ultra-fast f1.2, fast focusing with amazing image quality. The focal length is very useful for everyday shots. You can use this lens for years and enjoy the pictures it takes. To me it justifies the price. 2) It is larger than other lenses with the same focal length. I think I can live with that. That's certainly a lot more than the Panasonic 25mm f1.4. I was concerned that the Olympus 25mm f1.2 would be heavy, although it doesn't seem that heavy to me. Anyway I repeat. This is the best everyday prime lens for the m43 in 2016 if you can afford it.
