The product itself is fine with the ropes. I bought this to make a sailor knot rug because I'm on Pinterest and love to tormenting myself. The rope is rough and broke fairly easily when I pulled it through the rug to weave. He's pretty tough too. I stretched it right on the clothesline before using it and it only worked a little. Also from the rope it turned out to be a "mat” the size of a napkin. Like I said, if you're going to use this rope for more conventional rope stuff you'll probably be fine, but if you're into crafting and need it to be flexible, maybe try a different rope.
