I am a tax accountant with almost a deadline of 10/15 and have decided to order an extra monitor for my workspace. This adapter arrived a day after ordering and completes my setup. Before that I had a working laptop, USB-C plugged into monitor 1, HDMI cable for monitor 2, and now this adapter thing that lets me connect a regular USB port to monitor 3. PRO TIP: It comes with this installation disk. Driver. Since it's 2020 now, you probably have a laptop without a CD. Just go to the website (given in the instructions), download the driver and BOOM is ready. You MUST install this driver for it to work. It's worth the extra 1 minute because my productivity just increased by 50%. The only thing is that it gets pretty hot, as does my other docks/adapters, so I guess that's normal. I will come back and update if I run into any problems. but definitely a solid buy.
