This gadget saved my engine! The factory temperature sensor does not give a specific temperature reading in degrees. After installing this gadget, I quickly found that my truck was running hotter than usual. About 15-20 (205-212) degrees hotter than usual. However, the needle in the cluster always stayed in the middle. Anyway, I've since fixed the issue that was causing my engine to overheat. It's been perfect ever since. This gadget keeps me up to date on everything that's happening with my truck. Great for older cars with obd2 but doesn't come with the fancy digital gauges that most modern cars have. $30 versus $4,000 for a new motor. You choose.
