I'd like to give them an excellent rating because I bought them for heating, damn it, knowing these things don't produce UV , but people buy them for UVB, which doesn't exist. My solar meter shows 0.0. Reptile, bird and pet owners always buy this when it's too good to be true and not worth risking your pet's life for a supposedly good deal. However, they are great for warmth! My stacked cases have an 8" clearance between the lamp and the ground and it's difficult to get the lamp right. If I could, I would save everything.
