I plan to put it on me and have them tell me if there is a problem. This frees my hands to do other things. It can speak, be silent or vibrate. The choice is yours, depending on the specific situation. The instructions were informative and easy to read and understand, but the language could be a bit better. Once that's done, it's a readiness check, and it can be set to look for any or all of the four gases it's supposed to detect. Includes power cord and power adapter. Not common but welcome here for this important technology that tells me gasses are around so walk away instead of relying on a dime that may or may not work at any given time. The internal battery lasts several hours once the power adapter and cable are properly charged. Four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
