I'm a proofreader so I often have to sharpen my blue correction pen. I don't have an electric one on my desk, but I prefer mechanical ones. The two blades create a very long and sharp pencil point. I was so used to writing very hard that I had to get used to writing softer with this pencil after sharpening a pencil, otherwise the tip would break. I don't mind a sharpener or a pencil, I just write like that. As I started using a softer touch the tip broke less and I found the pencil wrote just as darkly as it did when I wrote much harder. The sharpener also holds plenty of shavings before needing to be emptied. Thanks to the rounded edges, the shavings won't fall out of the two slots, even if the sharpener wobbles.
