I built a wooden paper/file tray to sit on a desktop and needed some sort of rubber strips or bumpers to put on the bottom to keep from scratching the desktop and to keep the file tray from moving around. I tried a peel and stick kind that was supposed to be black rubber but it felt more like vinyl. It protected the desktop from scratches but it wasn't tacky at all and didn't keep the file tray from sliding around. I tried these clear bumpers and they work perfectly. They are much tackier and completely keep the file tray from sliding on the desktop. Plus you get 36 of the bumpers. I put 1 on the bottom of each corner and it works great and I still have 32 left for future projects. The adhesive seems to stick very well and these are stuck to raw plywood.
