Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ Cutting Edge Power Solar Panel USB Adapter Charge Controller Backpacking Camping Hiking OffGrid Version 8 Ports: Optimal Charging Solution for Outdoor Adventures by Jeff Swanson

Connects directly to the solar panel - no controller required

If you're an early adopter of a solar panel, it probably draws less than 100W, is expensive, and doesn't have a USB port. Solar panel prices have come down significantly, making 100-200w solar panels an economical purchase. What to do with the old solar panel with less power? This device connects directly to your solar panel and does not require a controller (which often requires a connected battery to function properly). You may need to purchase an inexpensive adapter to connect Solar SAE (button) or Anderson connectors to the MC4 connectors on this unit. With this device, you can use your smaller solar panel to charge mobile phones and small power supplies where 30-50W charging is very suitable, and use the new large solar panels to power/charge larger devices such as home appliances and large power supplies and battery generators.

Pros
  • All right!
