This sketchbook is a great size and has good paper. I mean it's good for sketching and light ink, but I find it too thin and doesn't have enough teeth for colored pencils. I tried the Copic markers and although they went all the way through the paper I had a piece of watercolor paper behind them and none of the markers got soaked through. So the markings I think will do. I've also thought about trying watercolor but yeah I wouldn't trust that. But I bought these mainly to put in a pencil case for quick sketches and a crayon to add color to them. So I guess I'm less than satisfied, but I think I'm satisfied enough to keep using it, just not in the way I planned. I think markers and ink are pretty much all I can use it for.
