My husband bought this item because he always looks for a secure mount for his phone when we ship and travel to other states. So far this is probably one of the most reliable devices out there. found so far. He's bought a few in the past and they've never lasted more than a few months. One of them actually deals damage to one of its vents. This device mounts right on your car's dashboard and you can literally see it in your field of vision where you need it. There are no obstacles and it doesn't distract from driving. The phone can be easily removed from the holder. However, I have found that the mount sometimes comes off a little easier than expected. I think as long as we know the numbers better it will probably be easier for us to maneuver them. But for now it sits on the dash without doing any harm and gets us where we need to go.
