I purchased this product after taking my old Rena xP2 out of the garage to start a new aquarium. The quality of this hose is excellent. Thick and manageable. No kinks. The kit includes two 6.5 ft (2 m) tubes. This kit is compatible with Rena XP1, XP2, XP3 and XP4 filter models. Installation in the inlet/outlet fittings and filter tubes required little labor, it requires twisting and pushing, it must fit snugly to prevent water leakage. Be sure to use the safety/pipe rings on the pipe to tighten. Connections as indicated in the instructions for your filter. I was able to cut one of the pieces in two to use for both the intake and my canister filter. So I have another 6.5ft piece as a backup; My aquarium is a little over 4 feet off the ground. I would highly recommend this product, nothing beats using genuine parts and the price is spot on for such high quality. By the way, in case you're wondering, the label on the tube itself reads: RENA 16x21
