So far so good. The setup went well. I had two half calls. First, I didn't notice the tiny "edit" icon in the bottom-right corner to change security for a few minutes in the UI. I had to force the 80MHz frequency into the 5GHz N/AC band. At first it got stuck at 200 Mbit/s. The data transfer speed from my NAS to my laptop increased to the mid range of 20Mbps. It was in my youth with the previous Netgear WNDR400 router. In terms of range, 2nd floor phones and tablets report strong signal strength. Some Ethernet ports will be on the wish list for the device as I need to use a switch in combination with WAP for my wired gaming consoles. Of course, the previous router (Netgear WNDR4000) that I configured in AP mode had these ports.
