I use a cushion in my desk chair at work. I am a slim, petite person and the desk chairs are rather uncomfortable for me. I have to sit longer than I can honestly stand; This pillow was perfect for helping me sit longer than usual. At first the pillow seemed hard; however, it took on my shape within a few days of sitting on it while still maintaining secure cushioning support. I recommend this pillow to anyone who is looking for a solution to the problem of being unable to sit for long periods of time due to an uncomfortable desk chair pressing against a slim bottom. I've also found that it helps prevent a sciatica attack (caused by a pinched piriformis) and can be "triggered" by sitting for longer than desired.
