I fitted them to a 2008 Ford Explorer they fit perfectly just like the factory version. Easy to install, simply lift the hood, pry off the snap rings on each end of the old struts, remove the old struts and "snap in" the new ones. Use a small flathead screwdriver to pry the retaining rings on the old posts. those to take them down. You don't have to pry the rings on the new ones to put them on, just push them down with some force and they'll snap into place.
