I installed this on my Jeep XJ fuel injector as an anti-backflow fuel injector. I placed it just in front of the fuel rail where it looks like there is a rubber hose there. There is a plastic hose underneath this rubber hose, so don't cut it unless you have a 5/16 fuel line on hand to swap out. But that's all I did was cut the plastic portion of the fuel line and put in a new 5/16 rubber fuel hose to install this unit. I can say it definitely made a difference. The startup time is drastically reduced. I still have a slow start sometimes. Can't say for sure if it's a fuel issue so take it what you will. I believe my fuel rail holds 32psi, so this valve seems capable of handling that, or nearly enough. Update: After a few months this thing started leaking horribly. Not sure what changed. After finding a leak I took it apart, wrapped tape around the threads, fixed it and plugged it back in to find it was still leaking. I can't stop the licking so I have to downgrade my rating to one star. I recommend staying away from this article.
