Nikon Z5 was my first camera. I prepared for the purchase very carefully and for a long time - I tested my friends' cameras (mirror and mirrorless in the price range from 30,000 to 200,000) and came to the conclusion that mirrorless cameras are definitely the future. They are lighter in weight, easier to manage, they have a friendlier interface, which is important for a novice photographer. Buying such a camera, you can focus on creativity, spending much less time mastering the technical side of the issue. I think that this is the next stage in the development of photographic equipment and they will gradually replace DSLRs (as touch phones replaced push-button phones at one time). Almost all of my more experienced colleagues who took the Z5 to test were somewhat skeptical at first, but after 2-3 hours of work they fell in love with it, and seriously began to consider the Z line as a purchase of a second working camera. For 4 months I have no complaints about work. It shoots perfectly in any light: at night, during the day, in a studio with natural and artificial light. The only thing I regret is that I took the camera with the lens that came with it. It is not bad and at first I used it, but after I bought a 50 mm f1.8 lens, I could not return to the whale lens. Now it lies idle. If possible, it is better to overpay and immediately choose a stronger lens. If not, then this one will go for the first time. Of course, the camera is just a tool, then everything depends on talent, aspiration and your diligence in work, but if there is an opportunity not to complicate your life, then why do it? If you are looking for a full frame, modern and affordable camera (Z5 is the cheapest of its kind), then this is the perfect choice! I have no doubt that my next camera will also be from the Z line and in the future I hope to join the Z creators Nikon team (if you dream, then big). All shots were taken with the Z5+50mm f1.8.
