Installation was very easy and they look better than the quick release skewers I had on my bike (which got a little rusty and are no longer "quick releases"). I wish the key was smaller as it has to be carried around. You must remove the wheels if you get a flat tire. I don't need a bottle opener and would like to take it off and just get the key. The opener helps with prying, so removing the lock nut is easy, but still somewhat unnecessary. If you use them on your commuter train this might not be a problem, but they take up a bit more space and weight in my jersey pocket. Well, the only negative, and that doesn't detract from the purpose of the skewers.
